Presidential Election Petition Tribunal: Court reserves Judgment for September 11

The Presidential Election Tribunal seating in Abuja is set to deliver judgment on September 11, 2019. This has announcement has sent shivers to the spines of the both parties involved.

It will recalled that Atiku had told the tribunal to nullify Buhari’s election and declare him the authentic winner of the election.

The presidential election tribunal hearing the petition filed by the former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, against the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of February 23 election, would on Wednesday, September 11, deliver its judgement.

According to Legit, reports, a lawyer from one of the camps of the presidential candidates who did not want his name mentioned, said that all is set for the judgement to be delivered on Wednesday, September 11.

The five man panel headed by Justice Mohammed Garba had on August 21, reserved judgment in the petition to a date that would be communicated to parties shortly after all lawyers in the petition adopted and argued their final written addresses.
