JUST IN: Pandemonium as Gunmen kidnap nine in Abuja

Fear has gripped some residents in some parts of Abuja following the report of Nine persons, including a 12-year-old boy who were abducted in Pegi community, a resettlement area in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, TVC reports.

The victims were kidnapped last night around 8:00 pm by gunmen who dressed in military camouflage.

In a related development, One person has been killed while four others were abducted in the early hours of Monday in Anguwan Barau, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A member of the community said the gunmen arrived at about 4:00am on Monday and started shooting.

The eyewitness added that on hearing the gunshots, people started running in all directions and one person died in the process.

The police are yet to confirm the abduction.
