Ex Deputy Gov commiserates with Prince Nwokoro, Ogubie family

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has condoled Prince Gerald Nwokoro of Awo-Omamma, Oru East local government of Imo State, over the passing of his grand mother, Nwokoro Rebecca Ukachi, aged 120.

Prince Madumere who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media, Uche Onwuchekwa, admonished the family to rejoice in the Lord who granted late Rebecca Nwokoro a very long life.

“There is no doubt that she led a very good christian life with the flood of testimonies I witnessed. I am also happier that he was able to groom successful children who have done well in various areas of life, including the grand children who are also contributing immensely to the society positively. I must comment Prince Gerald Nwokoro for what he has continued to do to influence his immediate environment and that state at large. He is an educationists and youth leader who we are proud of!” he stated.

In the same vein, the former Deputy Governor also condoled Ogubie family in Achi- Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo Atate over the passing of a great mother, sister and grand mother, asking them to take solace in The Lord.

He was represented by Prince Chijioke Madumere and Chief I.B. Okafor

Meanwhile, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Prince Marcelanus Nlemigbo, the party Organising Secretary, Clement Anozie, The Publicity Secretary, Enyinnaya Onuegbu among others were present to be with Mrs. Ijeoma (new Ogubie) during the burial ceremonies.
