“Called to Serve Foundation” hosts Mother of all Charity Concert in Imo
An international foundation called ‘Called to Serve Foundation’ in collaboration with the Office of the Executive Assistant to the Governor has concluded arrangement to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.
The founder of the Foundation, Thelma Ibe, speaking with NewsTrack in a telephone conversation said that this year’s activities is geared towards empowering of some talented less privileged.
“Truly we have withhold nothing for the sick in so far as their need is within our limited resources. We shall continue to do that to the glory of God.
“During this festivities, we shall not spare a thought to our young talented children who only need some support to blossom and flourish. Last time, I was dazed with the level of discovery we made. I saw even some physically challenged who are not interested in begging arms but to more interested in fending for themselves.
“The best way we can achieve that is put them side by side by stars who have made and allow them display what they have got. We all are called to serve to slavage our society. That is why we are calling on Imolites to support this mission to empower our youths. I know that no one would want them to be pushed into drugs, armed robbery and all manner of vices. This is the time to save their tomorrow and ours,” she exclaimed!.
Meanwhile, most Imo based artistes, standup commedians have elected to be part of this mother of all concerts.
The good thing is that it is thrown open and for free of charge. This is to enable everyone to appreciate the limitless talents Imo youths are endowed with.
NewsTrack Nigeria will be there to give the event the deserved publicity. Individuals, groups and corporate entities are enjoined to use this period to plough back into the society.
Meanwhile, there will be mouth watery cash prizes for the first 3 who come roles while others who prove themselves will also be supported.
We have it on good authority that Imo professionals in Diaspora will be present to also support those who distinguish themselves on the sidelines.
