BREAKING: Senator Uwajumogu dead?

The rumoured death of Senator representing Okigwe zone, Imo State, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu’s has brought so much devastation in the state.

While political class have been cold and have refused to speak on the said demise of Senator Uwajumogu, it has gone viral on social media.

NewsTrack Nigeria can confirm the credibility of the devastating news.

Speaking to one of his kinsmen who pleaded anonymous status, he said: ” with the information I have before me, Ben is no more. This is sad and painful but what can we do. God why!; he exclaimed.

Speaking to one of his associates who also spoke on the condition of anonymity, he said that Senator is gone. Calling Ihitte-Uboma, our checks have not contradicted the sad news.

Recall that Uwajumogu has been battling with heart ailments, which has caused him to seek medical attention abroad on some occasions.

He also suffered partial stroke, where he was flown to India but to the happiness of his political family, he came back healthier and even attended the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba’s father’s birthday.

With the sad story, the question on Imo people’s lips are: “If such is the cruelty of life, then why would man still struggle all the way when it is all vanity if not a mere illusion.

Meanwhile, one of his aides (name withheld) who had misunderstanding with him sometime in the past has gone on social media to celebrate his death.

Recall the role of Uwajumogu during the 2019 electioneering process, where he played vital role to ensuring that equity was enthroned in the polity. He went ahead to win his senatorial bid after so much controversies embroiled in bad blood and vendetta.
