Minister of Humanitarian affairs, N-SIP brainstorm on effective distribution of resources to vulnerable population
Monday, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hon. Sadiya Umaru-Farouq had an interactive session with National Social Investment Programme N-SIP State Focal Persons to brainstorm on effective equitable distribution of resources to the target demographs.
The event which held at the Stonehedge Centre Abuja had in attendance Permanent Secretary of the newly created Ministry; Alhaji Tijjani Idris and other staff of the Ministry.
The Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Tijjani in his address urged participants to involve actively in the interaction session.
Speaking, Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umaru-Farouq noted that the interactive session was facilitated to ensure more equitable distribution of resources to vulnerable population, including children, youths and women.
The Minister stressed that this will key into vision of President Muhammadu Buhari of bringing vulnerable Nigerians out of poverty.
The interactive session enabled the State Focal Persons across the thirty-six states of the federation to brainstorm on how to achieve a more robust objective of the National Social Investment Programme N-SIP for all and sundry
