Governor Uzodinma appoints Iwu SSG, Akolisa Attorney General, others
The new Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma who was sworn-in on Wednesday has made his first set of appointments into his cabinet.
Governor Uzodinma was declared validly elected Governor of Imo State at the Supreme Court after a long legal battle.
His election brought to an end Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha’s 8 months reign as the governor of Imo State.
Among those elected are well known loyalists of Uzodinma.
They are:
1. Chief Cosmas Iwu…. Secretary To The Government of Imo State ( SGI)
2. Bar. COC Akolisa, Attorney General & Commissioner of Justice
3. Sir Nnamdi Anyaehie….Chief of Staff and
4. Mr. Oguike Nwachukwu…..Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser
The appointments are with immediate effect.
