‘Uzodinma’ll govern Imo without victimization, favouritism’

One of the aides of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie has assured the people of the state that the administration will drive the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery mantra without victimization or favouritism.
Speaking with newsmen in Owerri, Ikpamezie, who is the general manager of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), also added that Imo people will enjoy prosperity under Uzodinma’s administration.
He said Uzodinma is ready to drive his 3Rs mantra of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery which he said will be fully implemented for the overall benefit of Imo people.
According to him, peace and stability were critical in the move to reposition the State, adding that Imo people must come together and support the governor to develop the state.
He congratulated Governor Uzodinma and his Deputy, Prof Placid Njoku , on Tuesday’s Supreme Court ruling which affirmed his position of the governor.
According to the OCDA boss, the apex court verdict was a reaffirmation of the peoples hope, mandate, and proof that democracy is taking deep root in the country adding that the judiciary is enjoying relative independence.
Ikpamezie stated that the era of politicking is over, and now is the time to administer good governance saying Uzodinma is ready.
Ikpamezie stated that the State is home to Imo people, even as he called on the people to shun personal issues and join hands to make the State a pride of place because the input of every person is needed to restore the glory of the Eastern heartland.
