Armageddon in Lagos as explosion devastates communties
There was pandemonium as explosion rocked Abule Ado community located close to FESTAC Town, Lagos State.
“like Armageddon, Many residents along the axis of the explosion and other areas of the state experienced destructions of properties worth billions of naira.
According to an eye witness, “Houses were shattered while some were shaken to its very foundation, rendering them unsafe for living. Cars somersaulted while some others were shattered with windscreens broken to pieces. When we heard a loud noise in the morning, at first, it sounded as though that were under attack. We naturally scampered for safety.
” I am still in shock and fear just like many other resident. I never believed it was not a bomb blast”.
Recall that reports have it that the explosion took place this morning of Sunday, March 15, 2020.
According Tribune, the explosion appears to be from a burst oil pipeline as “many residents close to the area later saw a massive ball of fire with thick smoke that accompanied the explosion”.
