Again, Uzodinma disappoints Okorocha, appoints 27 LGA interim Management Committee

Against lingering case of ousted local government elected officers, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has approved the constitution of Interim Management Committee (IMC) for the 27 LGAs, following directive from the Imo State House of Assembly that an Interim Management Committee be constituted for effective management of the affairs of the councils.

Gov. Uzodinma’s approval was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hon. Oguike Nwachukwu.

Uzodinma’s latest move has left no one in doubt that the speculated alliance between him and the former Governor, Okorocha may have collapsed irretrievably coupled with the ongoing probe of Okorocha’s government.

Governor Uzodinma gave the approval on Wednesday just as the 27 IMC Chairmen will be sworn-in today.

According to the Governor, other members for each local government area in the state will be announced later.

11. Mayor Obinna Nweke – Ngor Okpalla
