NCDC includes Everight Laboratory in Imo as Covid – 19 test center

In a another swift move to increase testing capacity for Covid – 19, Nigeria Center for Disease Center (NCDC) has announced Everight Diagnostic and Laboratory Services, Owerri as the 24th of National Covid – 19 Laboratory Network.

With the development, the issue of running long distances for tests has been resolved. It will also be a sigh of relief for some South East and South South States.

NCDC announcement was made on its official twitter handle earlier today.

The tweet reads:
“We’re pleased to announce the inclusion of the 24th lab to the National #COVID19 Laboratory Network:

Everight Diagnostic & Laboratory Services, Imo State

Meanwhile, Everight Diagnostic and Laboratory Services can boast of among other state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and high profile personnel,it has Center for molecular Science and Genetic Studies.

As at the time of filing this report, all effort to speak to any of the management staff proved abortive.
