On this day, NewsTrack Nigeria wishes to felicitate Nwosu Ambrose Chukwuka as he attains a golden age of 50.

Mr. Nwosu has had an antecedent of excellence to the extent that one can comfortably say that he has been successful, especially in the area of his professional calling. Again as a man who has interest of his people at heart, he has also found it a worthy effort to venture into the murky waters of politics. Though may not have been as eventful as expected but his great impression at the heart of his people would remain appreciable for a long time to come.

Recently, he turned 50, which would have deservedly for wide celebration with family, friends, professional friends and well wishers but for the fear of ravaging scourge of Covid – 19, he honourably bowed to the protocols prescribed by the world medical body.

We in NewsTrack surely would remember such a silent Imo son who has done well and would surely stand up to be counted as one Imo Stars.

Below are things to know about NWOSU AMBROSE CHUKWUKA:

BIRTH:

Born on the 16th day of May, 1970 to a Farmer late Mr. Shedrack Nwohia
Nwosu of Umuekwele in Amaiyi Itu, Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State and his
wife Mrs. Paulina Ulunma Nwosu, a very resourceful palm oil dealer.

EDUCATION:

He had his early childhood education at Community school, Amaiyi
Itu where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate (FLSC) in 1982. He
proceed to the prestigious Midtown College Port Harcourt for the his post
primary education where he obtained the WEAC O/Level GCE in 1987. In 1990 he
gained admission to study Banking & Finance at the federal polytechnic Nekede,
Owerri and graduated on a record time for both the ND and HND programmes in
1995. After a successful National Youth Service Corp Programme in Edo State in
1996, he returned to Port Harcourt for his postgraduate studies at the Rivers
State as of Science and Technology Port Harcourt in 1998 where he
bagged a PGD in Business Admission. In 2009, he enrolled at Nigeria College of
Accountancy Jos and graduated on a record time of 2 years in 2011 with PGD in
Accountancy, and was consequently inducted into the membership of the
Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

WORKING EXPERINCE:

His first work experience was with Okeke & sons Ltd an,
Enugu based contractor that built the CCB at Itu Ezinihitte as a Project Accounts
Clerk between1988-1989. He worked with the New Nigeria Bank Ltd. Benin City
between 1996-1997. He joined the NNPC Eastern Zone Investment Ltd as an
Accounts Assistant in July 1998 and rose to the position of a Finance Manager
before going into private consultancy services in 2010 for both the NNPC Eastern
Zone Investment Ltd and Bondgate Nig. Ltd all in Port Harcourt.

POLITICS:

He has been in politics from his school days that saw him become the
most celebrated president of Federation Union of Mbaise Students and former
chairman Itu Development Union, Port Harcourt Branch between 2005- 2009.
He contested for the councillorship position of Itu Ward in 2010 and till date has
remained a strong party leader in the ward and LGA making resourceful

contribution for the growth and greatness of Amaiyi people in particular and Itu,
Ezinihitte and Mbaise in general.

VISION:

That Amaiyi will become a force to reckon with in exemplary and
resourceful leadership, while creating a conducive platform for human capital
growth and development.

FAMILY:

He is happily married with four children.

RELIGION:

He is a devoted Christian with special interest in promoting the Gospel
of Christ through investment in Kingdom issues.

PROFESSIONALISM:

He is a member of the following professional bodies:
1. Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
2. Institute of Certified Public Accountants Ireland (CPA)
3. Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN)

MEMBERSHIP OF VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION:

He is a member of the following

1. Federal Road Safety Corps (Special Marshal)
2. Peace Ambassadors of Nigeria.
