Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases shoot past 16,000, deaths now 420

Nigeria’s coronavirus (COVID-19) cases shot up to 16,085 on Sunday following the confirmation of 403 new cases.
Confirming the cases on its official Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC stated that 68 of the cases are in Lagos, Gombe-73, Kano-46 Edo-36 FCT-35 Nasarawa-31 Kaduna-17 Oyo-16 Abia-15 Delta-13 Borno-13 Plateau-8 Niger-7 Rivers-7 Enugu-6 Ogun-6 Kebbi-3 Ondo-1 Anambra-1 Imo-1
With the latest addition, the number of confirmed cases has hit 16,085 in the country with 5,220 discharged and 430 deaths.
