BREAKING: IGP Dissolves SARS
The Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu this Sunday afternoon dissolved the dreaded Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).
This is in response to the yearning of Nigerians for dissolution (SARS) over its unprofessional and inhuman conduct that has led to ceaseless protests across the country and beyond.
IGP promised to work with the Civil Society Groups to work our modalities to ensure that such conducts that border on inhuman treatment and unprofessional conducts are checked and officers involved brought to book.
He further stated that others measures will be taken to come up other well groomed units in concert with community policing strategy.
With development, the cross sections of Nigerian youths can now leave the streets.
