NACJ AWARDS: First Bank Emerges Integrity Bank of The Year
As the D-Day for the Nigerian Christian Association of Journalists (NACJ) for the highly rated INTEGRITY AWARDS draws closer, First Bank of Nigeria Plc will receive an institutional recognition as The INTEGRITY BANK OF THE YEAR.
First Bank, which prides itself as one of the centurion companies was said to have emerged through a random sampling conducted by NACJ, where most people elected the Bank as the most reliable financial institution of all times.
The Secretary-General, Dr. Charles Okhai of the Association made the revelation while speaking to newsmen, saying that First Bank has nonetheless proved beyond reasonable doubt that it is a Bank of INTEGRITY, having excelled in effective service delivery to teeming customers with high sense of integrity.
“First Bank emergence as the INTEGRITY BANK OF THE YEAR is strictly on merit. There were a number of banks who were considered in a number of areas, especially on the scale of INTEGRITY, First Bank came tops following its consistency in its service delivery.
“They meticulously ensure that their customers are safe and secure. Let’s not forget that the bank has gone through metamorphosis for over a hundred years. It is one of the successful companies in the world.
“By its history, it has remained faithful, committed and devout in its service delivery to its customers. Despite the periods of economic downturns, they have remained on the path of honour.
“Integrity is built over time through long period of established sincerity, faithfulness and commitment to the extent one is said to have passed people’s scrutiny, erasing any iota of suspicion from the people.
“Integrity naturally builds advocates for product, services and personalities.”
Meanwhile, Okhai explained that “the developmental progress of any nation is intrinsically or directly connected to the level of integrity of her leaders.
He observed that the pre occupation of NACJ is to evolve a new face of leadership that is mentally integrity-conscious and corrupt free.”
NACJ Awards comes up on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.
NACJ has also lined up other deserving prominent personalities for recognition among who are: Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State; Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; Minister of State for Mines and Steel development, Dr. Uche Ogah; Speaker Cross Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Williams Eteng; the Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Dr. ACB, Agbazuere; Mr. John Oyekowa; Managing Director of Everight Diagnostic and Laboratory Limited, Everest Okpara, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, Jacob Akinyemi Johnson, Hon Chisom Promise Dike among others.
