Everight Boss Celebrates With Christians, Raises Alarm Over Non Compliance To Covid – 19 Protocols

The Chief Executive of one of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) approved Private COVID-19 testing centers in Nigeria, Everight Diagnostic And Laboratory Services Limited, Mr. Everest Okpara while rejoicing with Christians and Nigerians at large for the season frowns at the nonchalant attitude of most people towards protecting themselves against Covid – 19 pandemic.

Okpara expressed these worries in a statement by his media consultant, Uche Ogbonnaya.

According to the statement, Okpara said he rejoices with Nigerians, especially with Christians as they celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of Christian faith.

He however raised alarm over how people have carried on without observing Covid-19 protocols, urging Nigerians to turn a new leave by keying into the collective fight against dreaded pandemic .

The statement reads:

“The Chief Executive Officer of Everight Diagnostic and Laboratory Service Limited heartily felicitate with Christians and Nigerians at large at this auspicious season of Christmas and other festivities.

“Okpara expresses worries over nonchalant attitude of some Nigerians who are either in the group of people who believe that the dreaded virus does not exist, attributing it conspiracy theory or those who believe it is mere high fever.

“We can authoritatively tell Nigerians that it does exist and can be disastrous and devastating. The world is on its Knees today because of the ravaging effect of Covid-19.

“Today, it is even more worrisome with the emerging  variants of Covid-19, which poses greater danger to those who may feel that they have strong immune system.

“Okpara therefore urges Nigerians to ensure they keep to Covid-19 protocols, observing all NCDC prescribed procedures to protect themselves against getting infected.
