BREAKING: Prof. Obiozor Wins Ohaneze Ndigbo Presidential Election, Polls 304 Votes
Professor George Obiozor has emerged President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo after winning the presidential election held in Owerri, the capital of Imo State today, Sunday, January 10, 2020.
Professor Obiozor polled 304 votes to beat his opponent who scored a distant 15 votes.
With this victory, the erudite professor and a Diplomat will now pilot the affairs of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization
Prof. Oiozor hails from Awo-omamma, Oru east local government area of Imo State.
Professor Obiozor is a renowned academic and an authority in International Relations where has carved a niche for himself.
He has spent most of his active working life outside the shores of Nigeria but has nonetheless, been out of touch with national events and commitments.
He has at all times demonstrated his firm patriotism to the issues that affect his fatherland no matter where he is at the lime.
He attended Awo-Omamma Comprehensive Secondary School and has a Diploma from Institute of African Studies Geneva Switzerland.
The erudite Prof. attended University of South Tacoma Washington USA where obtained B.A.(Hons) Political Science Columbia University , New York .
Prof. Obiozor who is renowned also bagged M.A. International Law and Organisation. M. Phi International Affairs PhD International Affairs.
