Mel Osuji Joins Receives MJA 2020 Greatness Award

Chief Mel Daimeon Osuji (Onwa na gbara oha 1) of Umuaro Umunumo has been conferred with a prestigious award on Human Human Development by Mbano Journalist Association (MJA) Award, 2020 edition.
The award presented by ” Mbano Journalists “Icon of Human Development of the year “, was in recognition of his immense contributions to the society.
“A vibrant and progressive young man of Umuaro Umunumo in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State has made significant contributions in the development of his community and Mbano at large”, the statement reads.
Amb. Kelechi Uzomah, the president of Mbano Journalists Association speaking during the Award presentation said that recognising and honouring Chief Mel Osuji is a little way Mbano Journalists can show appreciation for his services and commitment to the community.
He added, “it is an encouragement for him to do more.
“Chief, we shall continue to appreciate your efforts in Mbano communities, buildimg of Umuaro Umunumo where we shall be proud of, even when we have departed this landscape.
“We also appreciate your contributions, support and empowerment of the people of the community.”
Amb. Kelechi prayed that God will continue to bless and water his vineyard.
Chief Mel Osuji expressed gratitude for the honour for an Award Mbano journalists as the Icon of Human Development of the year, 2020.
He noted that developing and empowering the youth has been the centre point of his efforts.
Chief Mel, has about fifty eight (58) people in his monthly pay roll .
He supported Mbano Journalists Association(MJA) with a huge of money this new year and promised to do more if the used there pen well as the watchdog to the society.
The Mbano successful business Man (chief Mel Osuji) opined that Imo North ( Okigwe zone ) representatives are not representing Imo North well from the Federal to the Local level .
Pointing out that the Imo North representatives are there for their selfish interest not for the people the are representing, he enthused.
He charge all the elected representatives from House of Representatives to the House of Assembly to do a remarkable project this 2021or move a motion that the Constituency will benefit on.
Lastly, he condemned the act of burning Ehime Mbano police station during the #endSARs protests which he said the youths that burned that not Ehime youths rather neighbouring state, he said.
