Mbaise Nation In Mourning After Losing Leaders In Three Days
The people Mbaise still rues over the unfortunate death of their leaders, which occurred in two days.
Mbaise Nation had lost Chief Emma Ojinere, 2019 All Progressives Congress Senatorial Candidate for Owerri zone and Chief Charles Onuoha who was also a Governorship aspirant and at present and aid to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Foreign Direct Investment in two days.
The Chairman of Ahiazu-Mbaise local government area of the state, Hon. Larry Obinna who had earlier cried out painfully over the death of Ojinere was even deeper in pain when Onuoha also gave up the ghost in a hospital in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
“The three local government areas of the Mbaise are rueing in pains over the sudden transition of Charles Onuoha and Chief Emma Ojinere.
“If it were money or resources, nothing could have happened to these great leaders.
“Mbaise Nation has been visited by unfortunate icy cold of death. It is even more worrisome that it came like a thief, sweeping away two leaders of Mbaise Nation.
“Most painful one was that of Chief Charles Onuoha whom I spoke to and he expressed positive, blessing me for being a brother. Little did I know he was already transiting.”
Also speaking, Hon. Dr. Jahn Ezenwa,Coordinator Ahaizu mbaise COVID-19 task force, described the deaths of the said leaders of Mbaise extraction as a big blow.
He prayed God to console the family and grant the people the grace to bear the irreparable loss.
