Okorocha To Be Arraigned In Court Tomorrow, Says Imo information commissioner
Following the arrest of the former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha for forceful entry into government sealed property, Commissioner for Imo Information, Declan Emelumba has said that Okorocha will be arraigned tomorrow in court.
The police had confirmed Okorocha’s arrest following alleged invasion a sealed property as recommended by the white paper from the Commission of Enquiry constituted during the short-lived government of Emeka Ihedioha.
The unfortunate incident saw many people from both sides injured as guns were shot sporadically with other dangerous weapons used unrestrained.
Meanwhile vehicles’ screens were shattered and other other properties damaged.
This incident has further inflamed the seeming cold war between Uzodimma and Okorocha, with Okorocha’s son-in-law challenging Uzodimma’s Governorship at the Supreme Court.
