Madumere Salutes Akeredolu on Second Swearing-in, Inauguration

The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has congratulated Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on his second inauguration ceremony.


The former Deputy Governor who was accompanied by Chief I.B Okafor, made the statement, Wednesday, in Akure to newsmen shortly after the Governor’s Swearing-in Inauguration and Inauguration at International Centre for Event and Culture popularly known as Done.


He charged the Governor never to drop his guard on his chosing path of honour in keeping to his electoral promises to the good people of Ondo State.


He expressed delight on Governor’s sense of unifying the people and ensuring even development in the State.


Speaking on Akeredolu’s promises, he said “I believe he will surpass his first term performance because he is stubborn when it comes to keeping to his promises.


I was particularly happy with the launching of a chocolate industry in the state, an effort that will give room for optimisation of Cocoa processing to its end product. This will surely reduce under pricing in the international market”.


Prince Madumere used the opportunity to commend All Progressives Congress family within the State and the leader of the campaign council led by Governor of Lagos State who worked in concert other APC Governors a robust campaign and structure that ensure people appreciated the good work of the Governor.


Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu promised to do even better than his first term in office. “The good work has just begun”, he said.


He promised to ensure huge investments in Agriculture and Agribusiness, Industrialisation, Security and Infrastructures.
