Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, the Member of House of Representatives, representing Idanre/ Ifedore Federal Constituency has thrown his weight behind the new Federal Government policy to allow private individuals to construct and operate toll gates on them.

Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, who is the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Nigerian Army opined that it will help the poor masses who ply the roads as it will also help in ensuring proper maintenance and security of the highway.

According to the young politician popularly called “Small Alhaj but big politician”, it is universal practices to have toll gates which people pay tokens for road maintenance but those who don’t want to pay utilize alternative routes.

He said it will be a win win situation for the masses as it will also provide job opportunities for people as the companies will employ towing vehicles, ambulances and security personnel on the roads.

He believes it will help the nation better as the Federal Government cannot provide solutions to every need, thereby creating room for private sector to contribute in national development.
