Madumere Hails Nigerian Women, Urges The To Be Focused

The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has described women as indispensable partners in national development.

The former Deputy Governor made the statement shortly after special church service on Mothers’ Day at his Lake Marlinda country home, Achi-Ezi Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State.

Prince Madumere eulogises women for their effort national development, describing them as special breed who despite their fragile structure have made breathtaking effort towards taking societies to where they are.

He expressed happiness that the world is beginning to understand the power of women.

He said, “Women have brought innovations in virtually every facet ranging from home management, child upbringing, technology and in core leadership,” he said.

“Today, I use those opportunity to first congratulate my lovely mother, Ugoeze Marlinda Madumere who God used to bring me and my siblings into the world. We owe him all and all.

“I wish to use her as a point of contact to reach out to other Mothers in Nigeria who have gone through crucibles grooming today’s leaders.

“The danger is where future mothers are not properly groomed. It is garbage in garbage out. Mothers who were well groomed well would surely do better in grooming future leaders.

“In all these, some women have still been able to break through their limits to make histories.

“I therefore call on all and sundry to extend helping hands to poor mothers to enable them take care of their children”.
