One Year In Office: Uzodimma Must Hold Looters Of Imo Commonwealth Accountable – ‘Abamaragu’

Chief Adolph Anokwute popularly known as ‘Abamaragu’ of Orlu has joined the good people of Imo State and Nigerians to felicitate Governor Hope Uzodimma on the auspicious occasion of his One Year In Office and Thanksgiving.

The business mogul and political leader made the statement in an interview session with few newsmen on Sunday at Dan Anyiam Main bowl, the venue of the event.

Chief Anokwute described the event as a celebration of God’s grace, mercies, wisdom and direction, which has brought about the sonorous song of quality infrastructural development and instilling confidence in the Polity.

Analysing Governor Uzodimma’s address with other remarks from the Nigerian leaders, he said: “he said that the vice President, Professor Osinbajo, captured the feelings of Imo people, saying that Hope has brought hope to Imo people and indeed to Nigerian because if a branch of the whole is faulty, it will surely affect the whole.

“He said that the Vicar, Archbishop Anthony Obinna spoke dispassionately as a man of God. While acknowledging Uzodimma’s performance, he also reminded him of the things yet undone.

“I could also see how proud the Senate President was to identify with Governor Uzodimma’s performance, saying that his effort will further make it easier for the party to take over Abia and Anambra States.

“It is said that the taste of the pudding is in the eating. We are celebrating with our Governor because he has shown what he has up sleeves for the people of Imo State. Within one year, 48 solid roads have been completed. For the first time, we have engineering designs, structural drawings with known construction companies to deliver on projects.

“Of course good begets good and that is why we had a harvest of quality people who thronged the state from all works of life, including the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Governors among others.

“I wish to advise the Governor never lose his guard because failure has no brothers and sisters.

“He must remain focused and shouldn’t compromise in his move to recover Imo looted Commonwealth. Political patronage for criminals must not be allowed. History beckons and it takes great minds to make history.”
