Heartland Fc.Needs Financial Encouragement To Succeed – Coach

Heartland fc. Owerri Assistant Coach, Emmanuel Onyegbule has called for urgent financial encouragement to  the team to ensure they succeed in the tournament.

His call came shortly after the team drew 1-1 draw with Warri Wolves Fc of Delta State in their last match played at the refurbished Dan Anyiam Sports Stadium, Owerri last Sunday.

He told Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, that the financial encouragement from government authorities would certainly boast the moral of the players physically, schychologicaly and otherwise.

On the outcome of the match involving his team and Warri Wolves Fc, Coach Ezekiel confessed that his team was unlucky to pick the expected 3 points from their opponent team.

He said that his boys were all out to win the match but unfortunately the Wolves boy spoilt their game adding that their strategy was caught up by the visiting team.

According to Coach Ezekiel his boys had chances which they could not ultilize adding that there is every need for the team to get it right before their next matches.

The Assistant Coach regretted why his team could not pick the 3 points, however appealed to their teaming supporters and Imolites not to give up yet for there are better days ahead assuring that certainly they will fix all necessary lapses to enable them succeed in their subsequent matches.

Also speaking to Spots Writers, the Assistant Captain who won the best player of the match Pascal Eze accepted the fact that his team mates actually put up a great fight to grab the 3 points but luck it ended 1-1 draw.

On chances squandered by some Heartland players, Eze said that it’s always like that noting that chances as far as football is concerned keep coming but left is left for the player to ultilize the opportunity to convert it to goal.
