Wizkid Wins NAACP Image Award
Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has won the NAACP Image Award for ‘Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album.’
At the just concluded 52nd NAACP Image Award, Beyonce‘s Brown Skin Girl featuring Starboy was announced ‘Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album’ of the year.
Wizkid, who is one of the most revolutionary Afro-pop artists of the modern era, has won the award for a second time.
He became the first Nigerian artiste in 2020 to win the ‘Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration’ category on the same song by Beyonce featuring Saint JHN and Blue Ivy.
He had won a Grammys for his feature on Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl.
The new development has left people talking about one of the most decorated Nigerian artistes ever.
