NFF Inspection Team Visits Imo, Hails Onwubiko On Sports Development

The facility inspection team of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, has extolled the chairman and CEO of Onwubiko International Soccer Academy Okpala, Hon.Innocent Onwubiko for his stride in sports development.

The three man team led by the Chairman Technical Committee of NFF, Mr.Yusuf Almade Fresh at the end of their inspection described the sports facilities on ground as massive in the whole of the country.

Mr.Fresh told Sports Writers said the project put on ground especially in his community is capable of benefiting the entire youths both in his community and beyond 

He said that the facilities could as well attract professional football teams in the country who would want to use it for their pre-seasons matches.  

He said that the facilities put on ground are not produced here in Nigeria but in countries like China and USA among others.

Also in his assessment,  the Chief operational Officer of Nigeria Professional League, Ogunshola Ogunlewe, said that the Onwubiko Soccer Academy considering the structure which has to do with high level of technicalities could raise players who are more experience, focus that Kelechi Iheanacho who came into limelight from Taye Academy.

He said that with the combination of both football and education, no parents would refuse sending their children to the academy.

According to him, apart from raising highly talented players from within and beyond, the national team could come there for camping adding that with the serien environment of the area, there would be no disturbances. 

He said that the facility inspection team of NFF are in the place to look at the facilities on ground as well as how they can assist the chairman technically to ensure he fo the right  thing.

Conducting the team round the facilities, the Chairman and CEO Onwubiko International  Soccer Academy, Chief.Innocent Onwubiko thanked the team for coming to see things for themselves.

He said that the project when completed would have state of the art five story with elevator  academy block with an indoor soccer training pitch, lecture theatres and  hostels.

According to him the place will not only be made home of great football legend in the making but will provide quality education geared towards producing and shaping brilliant minds in other areas.
