Umudagu Agog As Mrs Iheanacho Receives Star Mother Award

The celebration of this year’s Mothering Sunday for Catholics was not without  recognition of some Mothers who have distinguished themselves. One of such women is Mrs Chika Patricia Iheanacho.

Mrs Iheanacho  was conferred with merit Award of Star Mother of the year 2021, by Christan Women Organization (CWO) of St Johnbosco Catholic Church, Umudagu Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State. 

Madam Iheanacho’s joy knows no bounds.  The event was as colourful  as her husband, Chief Chidi Iheanacho (Onyeze) and residents in Umudagu on the 18th April 2021 came out in their large numbers to identify with the celebrity of the day.

She expressed gratitude to God for life and the entire CWO Umudagu community for finding her worthy.

She commended Barr. & Mrs Nnamdi Anyaehie, Chief of Staff Imo State Govt. House, Owerri and his entourage for honouring her invitation.

She described women bridge and nation builders in the society, encouraging them to never to rest in their oars as they are needed to contribute their quota in grooming responsibility children.

She opined that these year’s mothers day was special and unique and also expressed happiness for celebrating her birthday on the day she received Award from Christan
Mothers, calling it a “Double Blessing”.

She also appealed to mothers to monitor their female the movement of the female children and guide them to greatness.

She further advised the young girls against indecent dressing which she stated a way forward to prevent female abuse. “Teach out girls to dress properly and stop night outings”, she said.

She disclosed that indecent dressing exposes the young girls to sexual harassment, adding that the earlier she learns how to dress decently the better.

Mrs. Chiamaka Egwim who was one of the award recipients expressed happiness for her friend over the honour, describing her as a good friend and transparent woman.

Mrs Chinwe Iheanacho equally congratulated other recipient of the merit Award as a Star Mother and commended her as one of the unique mothers in Umudagu community and prayed for God’s protection upon her family.
