BREAKING: Fear As Security Personnel Cordon-Off Govt. House As Gunmen Attack Owerri Police Div. Hqters

There is pandemonium in Owerri, Tuesday, as residents scamper for safety following reported attack on the facilities of Orji Police Divisional Headquarters.

As at the time of filing this report Government House is under water right security with heavily armed men preventing both guests and staff from gaining entry.

Meanwhile, the panic measure at the Government House may not be unconnected with the reported attacks on Orji Police Divisional Headquarters, Orji, Okigwe Road, Owerri.

NewsTrack Nigeria can authoritatively reveal that there is an ongoing operation of the joint security Operatives around Hadel Junction Bus Stop, Okigwe Road, which is where alleged burnt police stated is located to repel the alleged attack.

Meanwhile, all effort to get the Police Public Relations Officer to speak has proved abortive, which may not be unconnected with the keeping of the rules of the police as a security agency.

According to our sources, banks, Eateries and other businesses around the area have all closed down for business, including petrol refilling stations.

Police vans and Operatives are also seen strategically moving towards the police divisional headquarters.
