Gruesome Murder Of Gulak, Despicable – Imo APC Cahriman
Imo State All Progressives Congress Chairman, Marcillinus Nlemigbo has Decried the gruesome murder of the APC chieftain, Ahmed Gulak, describing it as despicable.
The Imo APC Boss’ made feeling was contained in a statement he personally signed.
He said his death was a huge loss and condemned the incident, describing him as a faithful leader in APC.
The statement reads:
The All Progressives Congress, APC Imo State chapter has received with deep sense of sorrow and heart-filled grief the news of the brutal and unfortunate assassination of a faithful as well as a leader of our great party, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak.
The party described the murder of Alhaji Gulak in Owerri as a condemnable, unconscionable and despicable act and a provocative affront to the generality of Nde Imo, as our people are not known to be this unmindful, callous, barbaric and heartless.
Gulak’s death, certainly, is a huge loss to APC as a party, his family, close friends and Nigeria as a country. Almost in a remarkable and apparent contradiction, as Imo State is not a hostile ground to visitors – we are receptive, loving, caring and accommodating.
In line with the foregoing, we call on all relevant security agencies to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all those involved in this heinous and dastard act are brought to book no matter how highly placed.
While we sincerely condole and appeal the national leadership of APC, the presidency, the people and governwent of Adamawa State to bear this great loss with equanimity, we commend the effort of the state government to arrest the urgly trend of incidences of insecurity in the state.
The party further call on Imolites to join hands with the state government and security agencies to restore the usual peace and security of our dear state, Imo.
We pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of Alhaji Ahmed Gulak and other faithful departed.
