Madumere Visits Dike Family Commiserates with Family Over  Their Mother’s Passing



The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has joined other well meaning Nigerians to mourn to passing of Lady Edith Ogbonnaya Dike who was laid to rest on Friday, June 18, 2021.

Condoling with the the widower, Sir Richard Alan Dike, his first son, Chief Okechukwu Dike and other members of the family when he visited their country home in Urualla, Ideato North LGA, Imo State, Madumere told them to take solace in the Lord who is the “author and finisher of our faith”.



He described late Lady Dike as a great wife, mother, teacher, Community leader, peace maker, mender of troubled families and a nation builder who came on a mission, which she accomplished with honour before transiting back to her creator.



“I have come to share in the pain with Dike family over Mama’s exit. As part of the family, I understand how painful it is because Lady Edith Ogbonnaya Dike was a bundle of love packaged by God, sent down to teach the world.



“As I learnt, rather than settle for nursing practice, she preferred teaching. This was to keep to her area of core calling. Of course everybody sings of her love, teaching people every subjects with human spirit; teaching Christ love to everyone she comes across, telling you off when you derail.


“Daddy, take heart. Your best friend has begun the everlasting journey first, which all of us shall embark on some day. Her good deeds will forever remain fresh in our hearts.

Speaking earlier for the family, Chief Okechukwu Dike welcomed Prince Eze Madumere, former Imo Deputy Governor who had come in company of his older brother, Prince Chijioke Madumere, Chief Princewill Ezebuihe(Baba Ali), his Adviser, Uche Onwuchekwa among others and described Madumere as part of the family.

“After Mommy’s passing, His Excellency, Prince Madumere was in Houston to mourn with us. We cannot tell him about Mama because there is nothing he doesn’t know about her and the family. We cherish this warmth visit again at home.

We pray God to continue to uphold you and grant you your heart desires.”

Meanwhile, the widower and patriarch of Dike family, Sir Dike blessed Madumere, praying that God will make all his heart desires come true.
