Panic In Imo Community Over Beheading Of Spiritualist.

Palpable tension has gripped the residents of Awo-Omamma in Oru East LGA of Imo State, following the beheading of a popular spiritualist, (nameswitheld), by yet-to-be identified persons.
Checks by Newstrack revealed that the community was thrown into morning following the murder of the said native doctor.
But the state police command, yesterday disclosed that persons suspected to be members of ESN were allegedly responsible for the death of the native doctor
It was gathered that family members of the deceased had accused the police of bias and wondered why it rushed to make pronouncement without making proper investigation.
Efforts to get the reaction of the Imo State Police Public Relations Officers were futile as at the time of filling this thisñ
Meanwhile the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/ESN , Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has denied the said involvement of the group.
Nnamdi Kanu spoke through the spokesman of the proscribed group, Emma Powerful.
had accused Imo Police Command of engaging in destructive activities of killing, maiming and burning houses.
They described the allegation as mere blackmail, which cannot stand.
Meanwhile, the leader of the group has been arrested and extradited to Nigeria to continue his trial at the federal high court, Abuja.
