Imo Governor To Include Ikeduru LGA In ISOPEDAC

Governor Hope Uzodimma Uzodimma, has disclosed that arrangements are in top gear for the inclusion of Ikeduru LGA in the list of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ( ISOPEDAC ).


This was made known when the IMC Chairman, Chief Tony Iwuamadi, alongside other indigens of the area, held a town hall with the governor, recently.


Chief Iwuamadi explained that Ikeduru was the first place crude oil was discovered by shell in the whole Nigeria, adding that the LGA has suffered serious neglect from past administrations in the state.


But he expressed happiness that the issue was brought to the front burner because the people of Ikeduru LGA are confident that the Governor would do everything within his reach to add it in the Commission.


He commended the Governor for his giant strides and urged him to continue to extend his goodwill Ikeduru people.
