Imo Based Journalist, Eluagu Allegedly Attacked By Suspected Agents Of Imo Government

A Journalist who is of Newstrack Online, an online Newspaper, Evangelist Bright Eluagu, was reportedly attacked by assailants suspected to be government agents.

According to Eluagu, he suspected that his assailants are persons loyal to the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) General Manager, Engr Innocent Ikpamezie.

Eluagu who was a guest on Reach FM radio programme, was attacked shortly after he left the studio to his office.

In his claims “my attackers pounced on me, collected my infinix android phone and the sum of N60,000, warning me to desist from writing against OCDA General Manager, Engr Innocent Ikpamezie.”

Checks reveal that Eluagu has been at longer heads with the OCDA General Manager, following the reports of alleged move to demolish churches by OCDA.

Meanwhile, efforts to speak to the OCDA General Manager as at press time proved abortive.
