Anambra Guber 2021 PDP Primaries: Ozuigbo Loses At Appeal, As Court Reaffirms Uba As PDP Candidate

The Court of Appeal has sitting in Abuja has upheld Dr. Ugochukwu Uba’s election as the Standard Bearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The appellate court had ruled on the Appeal filed before it by PDP against SAM ANYAKAORAH / SIR CHUKWUDI UMEABA earlier judgement from Justice Adeniyi of the Federal High In Abuja.

In a 10 – minute ruling, the three man Court of Appeal threw away the PDP Appeal case and directed them to fully obey the earlier court ruling of the Federal High Court in Abuja

The Appeal Court further said the approved list of Sir Chukwudi Umeaba / Sam Anyakorah group is the authentic list used to conduct the primary for Anambra State PDP Governorship Candidate.

By this Appeal Court Ruling in Abuja today – Monday, 5th July, 2021, the court has reaffirmed the nomination of Senator. Dr. Ugochukwu Uba as the authentic Anambra State PDP Governorship Candidate by Sir Chukwudi Umeaba and Sam Anyakorah group.

It is left to be seen how PDP will play with wisdom to ensure the party remains one before going into November 6, 2021 election.

By this ruling therefore MR. VALENTINE OZIGBO expectedly will lower his flag as PDP Candidate.
