Journalist, Policeman Killed As Robbers Attack Ondo Bank

Sketchy details have begun to emerge in the daylight robbery of a bank at Ilara Mokin, Ifedore local government in Ondo State.

The robbers killed a journalist and policeman during the incident.

The journalist, Olubunmi Afuye, was recently employed as spokesman of Elizade University.

He was going to work when he ran into the robbery operation and was shot dead, The Nation gathered.

Ondo police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, who confirmed the incident, said he would soon release further details of the incident.
