Late Former Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Bantex, Was A Patriot With Sense Of Humility – Madumere
The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has bemoaned the unfortunate death of the former Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Bala Bantex, describing it as painful, sad and unfortunate.
Madumere’s statement was expressed in a release issued by his Adviser on Media & Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.
The former Deputy Governor said Bantex was a man of peace with high sense of humility. “Again, he was unapologetically patriotic.
He lamented that Banex’ death was not only shocking but has left a big gulf in the polity, especially at a time Nigeria is going through daunting challenges that border on security, economy and general upheavals.
The statement reads in parts:
“The former Deputy Governor of Kaduna State was a great mind. We were close. His views on issues were largely hinged on patriotism.
“His death has left a big gulf in the polity as his experience could still have been tapped into at this period of challenges in various facets of life.
“I personally miss him because he affected my life in the course of our relationship.”
Prince Madumere also condoled with Bantex family, Governor El-Rufai and the the people of Kaduna State, praying to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the unfortunate loss.
He also prayed for the repose of his soul.
