Imo Intra-Sectoral Sports: OCDA Floors ENTRACO
The Owerri Capital Development Authority ( OCDA), General Manager Engr. Ikpamezie Innecent Ikechukwu said his team has been revived spiritually, physically and psychologically as exemplified in the football match with a sister agency, Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO), where they coasted home victory.
He stated in an interaction with newsmen shortly after the end of ” Imo Novelty Football Match” played at City school field as his side floored ENTRACO team by 1-0.
He lauded OCDA players for the victory over ENTRACO, saying they were fully prepared having trained for 3 months. “That gave us an edge to overcome the tackles of Environmental Transformation Commission ( ENTRACO).”
He advised defeated team from ENTRACO to go home and train before matching up with the boys, boasting his team can stand any Ministry or parastatals.
The GM revealed that his agency, OCDA, has done well in revenue generation, sanitazation of Imo State and recovery of properties. He also reaffirmed that OCDA is fit and sound noting that the agency has recorded succeses in all of its statutory responsibilities.
He attributed the secret to achieve greatness lies with a collective effort and also working with the right people.
Ikpamezie, commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for including youths in his administration, saying the Governor in his wisdom appointed the youths to manage some sensitive positions in the State.
He pointed out that OCDA is one of numerous MDAs Uzodimma has revived by appointing a youth to be on the saddle.
He vowed to use the office to make Governor happy whose interest is make Imo people happy to to have confidence in the government.
