Re: APC Congress Tears Ahiazu Mbaise Leaders Apart: LGA Party Exco Set To Petition APC State Leadership

The attention of the Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ahaizu Mbaise LGA, have been drawn to a deliberate publication of falsehood on Wednesday, August 4th edition of Announcer Newspaper, Owerri where it alleged that the recently conducted congress of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has torn the leaders of the party in the area apart.

Ordinarily, we wouldn’t have bothered responding to such an imaginative lies as showcased by the sponsors and publishers of such falsehood.

But for the purpose of clarity, it is important for us to make some clarifications so that the public will know the true facts.

The congress of our great party was held and concluded peacefully.
There was no record of crisis in all the wards in Ahaizu Mbaise LGA.

The leaders of the party are united and working collectively to strengthen the party in the area.

Any intelligent person will definitely ask Announcer Newspaper why it chose to make such publication without making proper investigation.

Much as we respect and will not in anyway stop the media from reporting stories and events, but they should do so while respecting the ethics of the job.

Conclusively, we wish to state categorically that there is no crises in APC in Ahaizu Mbaise LGA as errornoeusly reported by the local tabloid.

The congress was strictly conducted in line with the directives of the Governor and leader of the party, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

We therefore urge the public to disregard such misinformation as such does not represent the current state of Ahiazu Mbaise APC.

Signed:

Evangelist Bright Eluagu, media consultant to Engr Bede Opara, APC Leader in Ahaizu Mbaise.
