The Adonis American College of Health Technology and Science, Esa Oke, Osun State, has held matriculation for 315 students for the 2020/2021 academic session.
They were admitted into the schools of environmental technology, dental and general health studies, among others.
The programmes have a duration of four, three and two years.
The Provost, Hezekiah Oyeboade, urged the students to shun social vices and focus on their studies.
He said: “This institution will be first among equals among the schools/colleges of health technology in Nigeria.
“There are qualified lecturers together with adequate learning facilities in the college.”
The Proprietor, Prince Adonis Ademiju, assured them of international opportunities and modern training facilities.
He said: “Our mission is to give students the best training with our modern facilities in community health, public health nursing, nursing, general health studies, environmental health, health information management, dental health, medical laboratory science and laboratory studies.
“By the end of your programmes, we hope to see you plugging in and fitting perfectly into the different strata of the Nigerian health system to address the daunting challenges.
“For those who want to explore international studies, we are confident that your grooming here will make you globally compliant and equipped for international engagement irrespective of the country or continent to ply your trade.”
The school has well-equipped demonstration rooms, while a 120-bed hospital is under construction to serve as a practical station. The matriculation was held last Friday.
