Rivers Royal Father Dedicates Community To God

The outgoing paramount ruler of Ubio community in Ahoada East Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers state, HRH, Chief Napoleon Ordu has urged members of the community to embrace God and be united to attract development to the area.

Chief Ordu spoke during the last edition of the quarterly thanksgiving and dedication service he held in the community as part of his campaign promises, almost three years ago.

He noted that no community developed on the face of rancour, disunity and idolatry.

“I appeal to my subjects to continue in their love for God and remain united and peaceful and extend the same hand of support they gave to me to my successor, for development to come to our community,” he said.

Justifying the reason for organising the dedication service for the community, Ordu recalled that, “During my campaign to take over the mantle of paramount ruler of my community, I made a promise to return my people back to God by organising one day nondenominational prayer/church service in the community every quarter.

“From the time I assumed office in 2018 till date, I have kept the promise, however, this will be the last edition of the service I will organise in the community, because I have resigned from my paramount ruler position, with effect from next month, September 30; preparation is now on to getting a successor that will take over from me.”

He appealed to the incoming paramount ruler to build on the “right” foundation he has led by sustaining the thanksgiving and dedication service to ensure the people of the community are delivered from all firms of satanic bondage as the light of God shun in the area.

Earlier in his sermon, entitled “who is chasing for my destiny?” the guest Minister, Apostle Sam Egbe spoke on the infallibility of the power of God to save, deliver and defend as many as believe, trust in Him, and urged them to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour for their safety and prosperity.
