Imo Ex – Deputy Governor Reacts Over President Buhari’s Thursday Visit To Imo

The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has joined other Igbo leaders to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

The former Deputy Governor’s goodwill message was expressed in a statement by his Adviser, Media & Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.

Prince Madumere said that President Buhari has always had special interest in the state, having appointed her sons into various strategic positions in his administration and also approved strategic projects in the state.

Madumere also commended the Governor of the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Chief host who he described as an untiring worker.

He observed: “the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari will further give room for the President to access certain situations that will convince him on the need to approve more projects, programmes and other values for the state.”

His regrets: “My only regret is that I will be unavoidably absent since I am out of the country. I trust in the capacity of my Governor. He knows how best to treat our friends, how much more Mr. President who has shown great love to our State.”
