We Want Immediate Sack Of Mohammed Bello-Koko – Transparency Group
Acting group under the aegis of Transparency Nigeria Group has called for the sack of the acting Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko over large scale financial fraud he allegedly committed.
The group made the call in a statement sign by its Communication Director, Dahiru Mohammed, describing the allegation as monumental, making references from various news platform.
NewsTrack Nigeria had reported an alleged fraud perpetrated by Bello-Koko – see “NPA Boss, Mohammed Bello-Koko In An alleged Money Laundering Scandal.”
The group’s response also border on detailed expose of Mr Bello-Koko’s financial dealings by Premium Times, showing that the NPA’s acting chief has broken several extant laws.
According to their statement: “The Nigerian Ports Authority is one of the most critical agencies in the country and a corruption-tainted individual cannot be allowed to hold sway of an institution that is of critical importance to the security architecture of the country.
“The head of the NPA cannot be an individual driven by avarice and filthy lucre.
“We urge President Buhari to act immediately and decisively.”
