Hit And Run Motorist Kills Okada Rider In Ikom
A Motor cyclist popularly known as Okada Rider in local parlance was knocked down by yet-to-be-identified hit and run driver.
The unfortunate incident happened at Army check point along Ikom express way, Cross River State with the lying lifeless in the pool of his own blood.
The drama ensued when a soldier at a check point ordered a motorist to go and collect the corpse of the accident victim to a nearby hospital but he was tongue lashed by commuters who wondered why he did nothing after witnessing the incident.
The motorist refused blatantly, saying he might by arrested by the same security personnel to come forward to explain what he knew nothing about.
The incident happened at about 11pm.
Our reporter said no measure had been taken to contact the family of the victim s at the time of filing this report.
