Driver Suspected To Be Suffering From Epilepsy Loses Control Jumps Gutter, Hit Shop (PHOTOS)

There was Pandemonium as a motorist dramatically skidded off the road, jumped  gutter and hit a nearby Shop.

The incident occured along relief market road off MCC road Owerri with front the the RX Lexus 330 SUV damaged.

When the reporter arrived the scene of the accident, the motorist with the passenger who was said to be his brother had been evacuated to a nearby hospital.

The driver was reportedly unconscious after the incident.

According to an eyewitness who simply introduced his name as Kalu, “it was like a mystery. The driver was not over speeding, otherwise, he could not have survived it.
“We were standing by, the next thing we heard was a shout – Ewoo -Ewoo before he diverted and faced the building across the road. He jumped the gutter and hit the shop.

He said the shout help those around to run for their life, which helped prevented what could have cost lives.

“The driver is suffering  from epilepsy. He must have had his attack and lost control. I believe that was the reason for the shout.”

A furious woman who simply said her name is Ihuoma could not understand why an epileptic patient should ever try to drive. It is not only suicidal but poses a risk to every road user, including pedestrians. 

She warned those who have related ailment to desist from driving and other risky engagements.
