Mrs. Akeredolu made the call when she, on behalf of concerned Citizens of Imo State visited the Madumere Royal family of Achi in Ezi-Mbieri in the Mbaitoli council area of Imo State to sympathize with them over the kidnap of the traditional ruler of the community HRH Eze Henry Anoruo Madumere who is the father of the former deputy governor of the state- Prince Eze Madumere.

She extolled the traditional ruler as a humble, quiet, unassuming father and a family friend of her maiden home who endeared himself to a good number of the indigenes of Emeabiam community through exemplary services and enjoined the children of the monarch to always place a tab on his movements.

Receiving the Ondo first lady, the former Deputy governor , Prince Eze Madumere, along with his mother –Ugoeze Malinda Ulumma Madumere and brothers thanked her and her husband-governor Akeredolu for their sympathy and concern to the plight of the family stating that their patriarch was unexpectedly kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination by his abductors at Iho, in the Ikeduru council area of the state on his way for the burial ceremony of the mother in-law of his daughter on Friday 19th of November.

Meanwhile, the first son of Pa Madumere, Prince Chijioke Madumere poured encomium on the First Lady for her sacrifices towards saving the lives of the breast cancer patients, her campaign for prevention; and her well thought out programme to equip the girl child educationally and technologically through her BEMORE Programme.

He also appreciated her and her hubby, the Governor of Ondo State for their love towards Madumere Royal family.

The released monarch who recalled his ordeal in the hands of his kidnappers equally expressed gratitude to the Ondo first lady for her concern and prayers for his safety, recalling that had always enjoyed warm affinity with indigenes of her maiden, home Emeabiam.
