Buhari Swears-In Two New RMAFC Members
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday swore in two new members of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), to replace two deceased members.
The President performed the brief ceremony before the commencement of the weekly virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, held in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Abdulazeez Idris King, from Kogi State, was sworn-in to replace Suleiman Kokori Abdul, while Mohammed Sani Baba, an engineer from Bauchi State, was sworn-in to replace Prof Isa Mohammed.
Both former members died last year.
The weekly FEC meeting is in progress at the Presidential Villa, being presided over by President Buhari.
Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari and some ministers are physically attending the meeting, which started at 09:00 GMT.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan and other ministers are attending virtually from their various offices in Abuja.
