Ex-Deputy Deputy Governor Madumere Salutes Christians On Christmas, Urges For Forgiveness, Tolerance, Peace



The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere felicitates with the good people of Imo State and Nigerians at large.

Madumere’s Christmas message was contained in a statement issued by his Adviser on Media & Publicity.

Prince Madumere describes Christmas as the season to commemorate God’s foundation for the salvation of man by sending his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ who would later pay the ultimate sacrifice for man to be reconciled unto the Father.

Admitting that the economy has not been fair to the people, he told them to work, pray; be patient while waiting for God redeeming intervention, expressing positivity that things would change for the better.

Madumere also called on leaders and those who have been blessed to share with have-nots and put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.

He called for restraints on the part of the people during the festivities by observing Covid-19 protocols even with the the present Omicrom variant that is spreading so quickly.

In the statement, he also urged politicians to learn from the sacrifices of God the Father who for redemption of man gave His only begotten Son to come in human form, and stop pillaging the commonwealth but rather invest the resources to improve on the welfare of the people while engendering general development in the society.

He however admonished Nigerians to learn to be steadfast and discrete in choosing those who would superintend the affairs that would either affected positively or negatively. He insists that Nigerians in the spirit of the season must imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, peace and tolerance.


Madumere wishes Imolites and Nigerians in general ‘Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
