Okorocha’s Son-In-Law Was Not Kidnapped But Arrested – Imo Police

Imo State Police Command has cleared the air over the alleged abduction of the son-in-law of the former Governor of Imo, Uche Nwosu, saying he was not kidnapped but arrested.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Michael Abattam, he explained that Uche Nwosu was not kidnapped but arrested.

He also confirmed that Nwosu is the police custody, assuring the general public of the Police commitment to securing life and property.

Contrary to the earlier report that it was a kidnap by unknown assailants, the PPTO confirmed that Nwosu is in their custody even though he did not disclosed the reason for his arrest.

ARREST OF CHIEF UCHE NWOSU

This is to inform the general public that chief Uche Nwosu was not kidnapped but was arrested by the police and Imo state police command is aware of the arrest and presently he is in police custody.

This is to refute the earlier news that has being making rounds on social media that he was kidnapped by unknown persons / gunmen.

The Commissioner of Police while using this medium to assure imolites of the command’s commitment in ensuring the safety of Life and prosperity this yuletide seasons , adviced the general public to always shun fake news .
