D-Day: Uzodimma Will Name Sponsors Of Insecurity In Imo Tuesday – Information Commissioner

With strict adherence to his promise, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State will on Tuesday disclose the names of those behind endless crisis of insecurity in the state.

Uzodimma’s resolve to disclose as promised was revealed on Sunday by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

Emelumba said the governor will make the disclosure at the sixth edition of Imo stakeholders forum to unearth the said sponsors and financiers of insecurity in the state.

The commissioner said the government has the evidence proving the involvement of those responsible for the carnage.

Emelumba said apart from the public being availed of the individuals, the governor will update Imo people on his performance in the last two years.

He said the stakeholders meeting/luncheon will hold on Tuesday at the Government House at noon, and not at the Ahiajoku Convention Centre, Owerri.

He noted that the meeting, which is the sixth in the series, is very crucial because of the weighty issues up for discussion.

He urged all those invited to be punctual.
